The candidate will be responsible for contributing to man Vessel with competent and engaged Offshore personnel at optimized cost.

 

Responsibilities:

. Assist Crew Manager in development and update of crewing policies and implement crewing processes in accordance with the company guidelines and recommendations.
. Ensure that Offshore personnel comply with all Company s and Client s requirements and standards.
. Follow up crewing performance indicators and corrective actions.
. Ensure update, enhancement, implementation and use of crewing tools.
. Follow up and finalize Offshore personnel claims with insurance instances.
. Ensure follow up on seafarers pool and take proactive action for certification compliance and pool management.
. Ensure that all seafarers data are in full compliance with regulations and procedures; flag, STCW, MLC, company, are recorded and actions are taken in order to match timely future implementation of convention and flags requirements, and are well recorded for seamless payroll process.
. Ensure implementation and follow up of crew operational management; compensation and benefits, appraisals, rewards and disciplinary measures, career plan, private insurance, medical claims;
. Supervise the Crewing department activities and operational performance through leading and coaching as well as implementation of good practices and policies.
. Promote and ensure good communication between Seafarers and office.
. Take upon out of duty hours calls related to crewing.
. Participate to Crewing budget, training plan and cost optimization.
. Assist in preparation of audits, participate to audit as stakeholder and be proactive in finding solution to corrective actions and ensure follow up of implementation.

Profile:

. Bachelor s degree in Management or Human Resources;
. At least 3 years experience in marine industry and strong knowledge and practice on marine and crewing standards; STCW, MLC 2006, crew changes, flags, etc.;
. Have experienced with change, team, supplier, budget and project management;
. Have excellent communication, leadership and customer service skills ;
. Extremely organized and you interact, produce and report with a professional approach at all times;
. Able to work on multiple projects at the same time, prioritize matters and meet deadlines;
. Dynamic, efficient, reactive, and polyvalent;
. Must be willing to work autonomously and be comfortable working in a multi cultural environment;
. Have a good knowledge of MS Office especially excel;
. A perfect command of French and English is mandatory.
