Credit Controller

Reporting to the Finance Director, the Credit Controller monitors and ensures that credit limits are respected and payments are effected by customers within agreed payment deadlines.

Responsibilities
Monitors closely the company debtors, their credit limits and ageing;
Follows up with clients regarding outstanding payments;
Reconciles receipts from clients;
Responds to clients queries in relation to their debtors account;
Sends statements of accounts to clients on a monthly basis;
Approves credit limits for clients in line with the company policies and procedures;
Conducts KYC for new clients and makes the necessary recommendations;
Confident and firm in interactions with clients whilst being utmost polite and courteous and promoting the excellent image of the company.
Reconciles the sales of all business units done at the end of the month;
Checks all receipts of all business units for all incoming payments;
Reconciles all transactions from one month to the other in respect of debtors.

Profile
Minimum 5 to 8 years experience in a role with a similar level of seniority and responsibility.
Intermediate Excel skills.
Outstanding / Excellent verbal communication skills.
Good written communication skills.
Good customer service attitude.
Highly motivated and self-managing, follows-up and gives feed-back regularly and is proactive.
Copes well with high workloads, meets deadlines and delivers results.
Demonstrates outstanding levels of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.
Knowledge of SAP & Accounting background would be an advantage.
