• To be responsible for recording plant working hours
• To keep records of time of arrival and departure of workers on site
• To ensure the timecards/timesheets reach the Payroll Department in a timely manner
- To keep the site daily diary up-to-date (number of workers, plant, equipment, works done, materials received, weather, visitors, accidents, etc.)
- To ensure timely submission of all documentation to Head Office
- To be responsible for handling of Site Petty Cash
- To organize meal for overtime
- To fill up leave forms for workers
1. Time Keeping
- To be responsible for recording plant working hours
- To keep records of time of arrival and departure of workers on site
- To ensure that all workers sign in and sign out in an attendance register
- To calculate payment for attendance bonuses and travelling expenses due from records of hours worked and for work performed by individual workers
- To fill in the timecards/timesheets accurately and completely and ensure they are approved by the Site Manager before submitting to the Payroll Department
- To ensure the timecards/timesheets reach the Payroll Department in a timely manner
- To ensure that all workers clock their clocking card before starting work and before leaving site
- To keep records of times of arrival and departure of workers on site
- To ensure that all details e.g. Travelling, leaves, permission etc. are input in clocking cards before sending same to HR Department for payment
- To ensure that all clocking cards are signed by site Agent/Project Manager or any other person designated by Management before same is forwarded to HR Department for payment
- To record and monitor subcontractors’ attendance
2. Procurement and Stores
- To prepare Good Received Note upon receipt of delivery notes/Invoices from Storekeeper / Foremen/Site Agent
- To raise of Purchase Requisition for site
- To ensure that Store register book is kept up to date
- To do follow up on the replenishment of materials for store
- To ensure that Site Store is kept in order and tools are in good working conditions
3. Cost Control
- To be responsible for the control of labour/plant/materials on site
- To ensure correct information is transmitted to the Construction Surveyor for the fortnightly payment checks
- To perform basic measurements and calculations for preparation of claims/payments to subcontractors
- To prepare Lorry Work Ticket for all transport used on site
- To keep records of number of hours performed by all plants on site and fill in Plant Forms for each plant
- To verify the content of all lorries when coming in and leaving the site
- To monitor expenses and costs and keep an up-to-date schedule of site costs and buying
- To fill in of plant forms for each plant and keep track of breakdown and stopping time

- To assist the Site Manager/Construction Surveyor in producing various monthly reports
- To prepare monthly cost accruals
