Corporate Finance Associate

Providing a range of corporate finance expertise covering fund raising, deal structuring, due diligence and valuations.

Responsibilities:

• Provide robust financial modelling including valuation, project cash flow, DCF, IRR to support the Advisory mandates
• Maintain and adapt financial investment appraisal models and manage bids and production of business cases
• Support business planning and advice on transaction or development opportunities
• Establish robust forecasting & budgeting processes, ensuring strong internal control and creating suitable reporting templates

Skills & qualifications required:

• Degree qualified; Degree in economics or finance preferred
• Qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA, CPA) beneficial
• Excellent finance acumen
  • Experience of investment appraisals, financial modelling and business planning
  • Strong Excel modelling skills, including understanding of financial functions (NPV, IRR, PMT), IF functions and ability to construct pivot tables
  • Tenacious and resilient, not afraid to challenge stakeholders
  • Confident working within a team environment
  • Attention to detail
