Control Room Technician

Reporting to the JUHI Airport Depot Manager, the potential candidate will be based at our airport depot in Plaisance, Grand Port.

Main Responsibilities 

• Ensure the timely and accurate preventive maintenance and repair of all fixed facilities equipment
• Responsible for the safe handling, storage and movement of aviation fuel, while strictly adhering to procedures in place
• Monitor leak detection system on a daily basis
• Manage ‘SCADA’ system, record and report anomalies
• Ensure that electrical and instrumentation systems are in good working order and that system downtime is minimized
• Record parameters and anomalies and report to JUHI Airport Coordinators/ Depot Manager through checklists and pre format reports
• Abide to safety and operating rules, regulations and procedures of the Depot & ensure that outside contractors abide to similar rules, regulations and procedures
