CAR PAINTER grade 1

Leal & Co Ltd is actually looking for a CAR PAINTER grade 1.

MAIN FUNCTION:

To deliver an efficient, timely and zero defect quality service on paint repairs as per Supplier and Leal & Co. Ltd Standard.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

-To plan and execute repairs and painting jobs on a variety of vehicles

-To maintain and operate the equipment

-To prepare vehicles to be painted and apply paint coats for touch-up repairs

-To remove rust and other debris from surfaces to be painted

-To select the proper colours and substances

-To check finished paint jobs to ensure that it is done according to quality standards

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

-A previous experience in auto body painting

-A certificate/diploma in painting/body repairs, or any other relevant qualification from a technical school

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

-A knowledge of specialty painting techniques

-Auto body repair skills
