Responsibilities:
- Responsible for generating new business through established networks, relationships, independent research, and the lead management pipeline to expand the range of offers for our users
- Set appointments to meet with merchant’s face-to face to present MariDeal to their business
- Facilitate the growth of revenue by contacting new merchants (Hotels, Spas, Activities, Restaurants) while Driving merchant loyalty and retention through exceptional service levels
- Secure merchant partnerships using consultative selling strategies to create and negotiate offer details that align with financial and operational objectives
- Execute post-sale merchant communications, conflict resolution, and compliance on merchant deliverables
- Ensure any Merchants issues are resolved in a timely manner
- Closing/selling of new business and up-selling opportunity to existing businesses
- Utilize knowledge of deal structure and strategy to reach merchants’ desired outcomes and maximize profit
- Ensure that the website is well updated
- Supervise online offers
- Work closely with management to develop new deals
- Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests
Other Essential Job Functions:
- Logged into the queue 90% of the day.
- Reading documents, detailed work, problem solving, math skills, reasoning skills, oral communication, written communication, merchant contact, ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to merchants and other employees, multiple concurrent tasks
Qualifications and Job Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Tourism Management
- Minimum 4 years experience in a similar position
- Proven customer service, analytical and problem solving skills
- Solid decision-making skills, customer-focused instincts and sound judgment
- Intellectual agility and creativity to respond to changing demands and create new solutions
- Strong negotiation and relationship building skills with a high degree of professionalism and poise
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
