Our client, in the insurance sector, is looking for a Business Development Manager.
Our client, in the insurance sector, is looking for a Business Development Manager.
Reporting to the Managing Director, the successful candidate will collaborate with management to define realistic sales goals for the company’s various projects and align adequate sales strategies to generate business.
Main Responsibilities:
- To build key customer relationships, identify business opportunities, negotiate and close business deals and maintain extensive knowledge of the market conditions.
- To anticipate short and long term effects of sales strategies on operating profit and propose suitable actions.
- To lead and train sales team to develop proposals that speak to the clients’ needs and increase business.
- To forecast accurately annual, quarterly, monthly revenue streams and produce weekly statistics [KPIs] figures to management.
- To set and enforce sales policies, practices and procedures.
Qualification:
- Ideally someone studying towards ACII
- At least 10 years’ experience in a similar position
