Bartender (DPI)

Our Client is seeking to recruit Bartender for its operations in Seychelles Island

Responsibilities:
. Welcome all hotel guests in the bar and ensure that they get efficient service.
. Attend daily meeting before each service.
. Ensure that all guest orders are taken correctly.
. Provide efficient and courteous service to all guests.
. Prepare condiments for service and other service equipments.
. Keep your bar stocked with adequate and correct equipments.
. Ensure that all cash and customers bills are handled as per the hotel policy.
. Ensure that guests pay and sign their bills.
. Ensure that no unauthorized persons are given credit facilities.
. Obtain guests list on a daily basis in order to ensure and verify departure dates, correct room numbers of guests who are signing bills and ensure that no credit facilities are given to guests departing.
. Ensure that all the bar preparation and service areas are kept in a clean and hygienic condition.
. Take part in daily and monthly stocktaking in liaison with the stock taker and ensure that the stock sheets are signed.
. Assist in conducting monthly stock take of all bar operational stock
. Assist in the promotion of all services offered by the hotel,
. Suggest and promote daily cocktail specials and any specials of the day.
. Use up selling techniques whenever the opportunity arises.

Profile:
. Qualification in Hotel and Hospitality Studies or of the equivalent
. Have a minimum of 2 years experience of bartending experience
. Fluency in a third language is an advantage
. Experienced and well versed in hotel software packages.
. Customer Care skills and experience
. Self motivated, professional, courteous and an enthusiastic team player.
. Have a friendly outgoing personality and be goal oriented.
. Experienced and able to Adapt; coping with the diversity of customers and their needs.
