RESPONSIBILITIES
Main purpose of the job
•To oversee all operations of bakery / pastry on a daily basis and ensure that a high level of quality is maintained throughout the department.
Duties and Responsibilities
•Ensure that products are up to quality standards
•Ensure that correct procedures are used in production and equipment handling.
•Ensure that teams are working efficiently and effectively and deliver training.
•Check production sheets of bakery, pastry and viennoiserie departments on a daily basis
•Ensure that production units work according to planned production
•Ensure that shrinkage is controlled to a minimum and that wastage is avoided
•Check the cleanliness standard of bakery including chill room and equipment
•Ensure that 100% food safety measures are observed during production.
•Follow up on coordination between bakery and CDS respecting cakes transfer
•Ensure customer satisfaction as to availability, choice and quality of products
•Complete bakery checklist and give feedback to managers
•Ensure the availability of “pain courant” through the whole day
•Perform any other duties as assigned to you by your Manager in line with your responsibilities.
