BDO Solutions is looking for an Audit Senior (Internal Grade: Team Lead) with at least 2 -4 years of experience in Audit and Accounting. The main responsibility would be ensuring completion of engagement from planning through to final reporting in line with international reporting regulations.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure quality in delivering client service by directing daily progress of audit process and testing, reporting directly to Managers and Partners on engagement status and managing performance of Junior Associates
  • Conduct risk and business cycle analysis of clients' business to develop appropriate audit plans to address identified risks and to ensure accurate reporting
  • Effectively manage client relationships on a timely basis
  • Supervise multiple concurrent engagements and direct the preparation and completion of reports, accounts and financial statements
  • Assume responsibility for advanced components of engagements and be accountable for their own deliverables as well as supervising and reviewing the work of Junior Associates
  • Supervise financial reporting, filing and compliance assurance engagements for clients as required
  • Mentor Junior Associates by coaching and assisting them in the management of all aspects of their work

Experience

  • At least 2- 4 years of experience Audit and/ or Accounting
  • Experience in Offshore Sector is considered an asset
  • Experience in supervising and coaching junior members of staff
  • Strong knowledge of UK GAAP/GAAS, IFRS and/or International Accounting Standards as required

Qualifications

  • Degree in Accountancy, Business or Finance
  • Professional Qualifications is considered beneficial: CA, ACCA, or CPA.

  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office required; Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Ability to work at odd hours if required
