The job incumbent shall be responsible for:
-Assisting in Pre-sales, delivery, implementation, documentation and support of ICT equipment, systems and solutions.
-Providing excellent customer service
Responsibilities:
- Collect spare parts, equipment, cabling and accessories from suppliers and deliver same to either store or to client work sites;
- Collect products / equipment from store and delivers to client sites;
- Interact with customers and collects information on customer requirements;
- Analyze requirements, designs and document solutions to be proposed;
- Ascertain technical validation and ensure that technical validation of solution is backed up by relevant suppliers/manufacturers;
- Assist to perform pre-installation tasks such as site preparation, earth testing, checking of environmental conditions;
- Assist to perform implementation, configuration and testing of proposed solution, as per project implementation plan;Assist in laying down a lab environment test system prior implementation;
- Assist in laying out of UAT (User Acceptance Testing) criteria at early stage of implementation;
- Participate in submitting comprehensive technical documentation on implementation performed including all configuration details;
- Submit intervention report detailing problem description, action taken and customer signature stating that intervention has been completed to satisfaction;
- Assist System Engineers and participates in interventions at client’s site for technical support, repairs and maintenance of ICT equipment within a specific time frame;
- Ensure that client is contacted and is aware of appointment for intervention;
- Perform assigned tasks for intervention, regarding any other equipment from HMTL at client’s site;
- Ensure logging of any equipment, requiring complex repairs and follow up on completion of repairs;Perform periodic maintenance and system review as per maintenance contractual terms or as instructed by System Engineers / HOD / Manager;
- Draft and implement action plan for corrective action;
- Ensure that the necessary safety measures are respected during installation, configuration, testing and repairing of equipment;
- Assist in preparation of quotes and provides necessary information to complete quotes, submit to System Engineers for approval;
Qualifications & Experience:
- Hold a Diploma/Degree in IT;
- Have elementary Professional Qualifications in IT;
- Have sound knowledge of Contracting (Cabling);
- Have knowledge of IT and Electronics;
- Have a good leadership, planning and organizational skills;
- Have a good communication and interpersonal skills;
- Have a good written and spoken of English and French;
- Have a minimum of 1 year working experience in a similar job position;
