Manage Human Resources programs for hotel team members. Promote a positive team culture while ensuring our guests’ experience is unique and brings the brand to life.

 

EXPERIENCE
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 
FINANCIAL RETURNS 
• Assist in the creation of and work within the established Human Resources department budget and control expenses. 
• Monitor staffing to manage costs. 
• To be responsible that all payroll documents are ready five working days prior of pay period for approval by DOHR 
• To monitor team members attendance sheet on a daily basis and to submit a daily report to DOHR for morning and evening shift 
• To monitor Team members lateness on a daily basis and to submit daily and weekly report to DOHR 

Roster & Attendance Management 
• To ensure that HODs send their monthly departmental rosters at least one week before the new payroll calendar 
• To ensure that rosters are being affixed in a visible place in all departments one week before the start of the new payroll calendar 
• To ensure that rosters are being made as per company policy and as per our local law requirements 

Leave Management 

• To maintain and up to date leave record for all team members and to submit a monthly leave report to DOHR 
• To ensure that all Leave request form are being submitted 48hrs prior to the leave being taken 
• To ensure sick leave forms is be submitted on the same day that team members resumes work 
• To ensure injury form is being submitted on the day the injury had occurred 
• To ensure that all leaves are being taken as per company policy and as per requirements of local laws. 
• To ensure that team members consume their leaves during the year so that they have a well balance personal and professional life. 
• To ensure that recuperation form submitted to Human Resources department is as per company policy and submitted 48hrs prior the leave is taken 
Payroll Management 
• To be responsible that all payroll documents are ready five working days prior of pay period 
• To submit monthly overtime report at the end of each month to the DOHR 
• To be responsible that all payroll documents are ready five working days prior of pay period for approval by DOHR 
PEOPLE 
• Create programs to foster a positive work environment for all employees. 
• Support and administer an annual team member satisfaction survey. 
• Educate and train managers on performance management process in accordance with hotel or company policies, and related programs to foster productivity and enhance performance 
• Conduct new team member orientation providing information on hotel or company standards, policies, 
procedures, rules and team member benefit programs. 
• Oversee maintenance of accurate and up-to-date personnel files and records for all employees. 
• Ensure hotel or company hiring standards and applicable laws and regulations are followed in a timely 
• manner for recruiting and selection processes. 
• To ensure that Manning guide is being updated on a daily basis 
• To promote and to monitor the employee recognition program and to keep updated records per department and to submit a monthly report to DOHR 
• To promote and to be responsible for the recommend a friend program 
• To be responsible for communications and coordination with HODs for Beach party,Staff party ,Kids party and Townhall meetings 

Interviews 
• To conduct interviews for job band 6-10 
• To be responsible for reference back ground check for all team members 
• To be responsible for managing all application forms submitted and to submit a daily report/weekly report to DHR 
• To send weekly and monthly report to DOHR on the number of people interviewed, not hired and successful 
• Conduct Exit Interviews on a daily basis 
• Conduct return to work interviews on a daily basis and to send a report to daily, weekly and monthly update to the Director of Human Resources 
Staff Facilities 
• To ensure that staff changing room are up to standard and being checked on a daily basis 
• To ensure that team members locker records are up to date and that locker agreement has been duly signed and kept in personal file 
Certificate of character 
• To ensure that team members have submitted their certificate of character or the COC receipt, one week after their joining date or prior to their joining date and to keep an up to date records for all employees 
Food Handler’s Certificate 
• To ensure that all F&B , Kitchen and required team members have submitted their food handler’s certificate prior to their joining date or submit their FHC receipt for appointment day on the 1st week of their employment 
Recruitment & Onboarding 
• To ensure that advertisement on website are being properly managed and applicants being acknowledge within two working days after their application 
• Responsible for all adverts on social media, newspaper and other means of advertisement eg My Job, Taleo 
• To be responsible that all employees file are up to date as per check list 
• Ensure that Team Member Welcome Packs Records are updated with the relevant information 
• To ensure that all team members file are updated with all the relevant documents as per below:

4. Code of Conduct 
5. PAF New Recruit 
6. Photo

Organisational Charts 
• To ensure that all departmental organizational charts are up to date 
Probation 
• To ensure that team member probation evaluation form is being sent to the respective HOD six weeks before his probation due date and to submit probation evaluation form two weeks prior expiration of probation to DOHR 
Training 
• To conduct HR Training and Orientation to newly appointed team members and to ensure HR Orientation Presentation is up to date 
• To ensure that all team members go through induction prior employment as per company standards 
Human Resources 
• To ensure that Beach Party, Staff Party and Kids Party items are being purchased and monitored in a timely manner 
• To be responsible of all PR of HR Dept 
Townhall meeting & Recognition 
• To follow up who is most nominated on social media 
• To be responsible for recognition cards and their records per Department 

GUEST EXPERIENCE 
• Develop creative ways to inspire and motivate team members to provide guests with a unique experience. 
• Make time to interact with guests to solicit feedback and build relationships to understand how team 
members can increase guest satisfaction. 
• Work with department managers to develop initiatives to reach service standards and drive continuous 
improvement in the guest experience. 

RESPONSIBLE BUSINESS 
• Develop awareness and reputation of the hotel and the brand in the local community and promote team 
member involvement in local community. 
• Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and hotel or company policies and procedures. Conduct 
annual HR compliance/standards self-audit. 
• Research and investigate all workplace issues to discover facts, identify potential risks to the hotel or 
company, and facilitate resolution through your employee relations programs. Escalate serious issues in a 
timely manner. 
• Collect and maintain data from exit interviews, turnover statistics, absenteeism reports to identify trends, 
training needs, and supervisory issues. 

• Reports to the Director of Human Resources on all Human Resources matters. Perform other duties and assignments as directed by the DOHR from time to time. May also serve as manager-on-duty.
QUALIFICATIONS
Degree in HR 
At least 5 years proven experience in HR
