Our client, in the manufacturing sector is looking for an Assistant Finance Manager.
Our client, in the manufacturing sector is looking for an Assistant Finance Manager.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the successful candidate will ensure the day-to-day operations of overall accounting and financial activities.
Main responsibilities:
- Ensure and maintain sound financial systems and internal accounting controls and procedures.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting and submission of monthly/periodic financial and management reports and Consolidated Quarterly Accounts. Assist in monitoring of monthly actual results against the budget.
- Assist in the preparation of reports for external reporting (annual financial statements).
- Assist in the preparation of Budgets, forecasting and capital expenditure proposals. Provide assistance to the auditors (external and internal) and handle matters raised. Treasury Management.
- Handling VAT return Filling
- Liaise with team member of the Accounting department for ensuring proper recording of information & financial data and organise work schedules and priorities in order to meet critical deadlines.
- Perform other accounting and finance related duties or tasks as assigned from time to time.
Qualification:
- Preferable with ACCA, Diploma or Degree in Accounting.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the related field.
- Good and sound knowledge in accounting and internal control system.
