Adecco is an International HR and Consultancy firm. Our client, an international company specialising in eCommerce, is looking for an Assistant Catalog Manager.

 

Our client, an international company specialising in eCommerce, is looking for an Assistant Catalog Manager.

The successful candidate will be in charge of creating and updating the products and will assist the Catalog Manager in the production and mailing and in the creation of the seasonal campaigns.

Main responsibilities:

  • To work as part of the Marketing Team to maintain and develop the group’ sites catalog offers which include the categories, the products and the static pages management.
  • Maintain and update the catalog offer.
  • Create new products and new categories according with the SEO strategy and the SEO and Catalog Managers. 
  • Assist the Catalog Manager in the implementation of the direct communication and contact strategies.
  • Assist the Catalog Manager in maintaining up-to-date knowledge of competitor companies, competitor activity and current market prices.
  • Update rates depending on costs evolution and market prices.
  • Day-to-day contact with Catalog Manager and Logistics service.
  • Reply to the customers emails, chats and calls in French and English.
  • Give advice to customers.
  • Arrange deliveries and returns, solve the issues met by the customers, report to the Logistics Service and if necessary to the Office Manager.
  • If necessary and not busy, prospect business customers and get appointments for our commercial team.

Qualification:

  • Diploma in Marketing
  • Previous experience in customer service and catalog writing (or similar)
  • A commercial experience is a huge plus

Candidate profile:

  • Excellent oral and written expression in French and English is a must
  • Ability to work hours as required by the business
  • Being creative and having good copywriting skills
  • Good eye for design and detail
  • Good understanding of brand values and guidelines as well as tone of voice/style
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Excellent computer literacy 
  • Knowledge of Excel and csv import and export
  • Knowledge of Photoshop
  • Team worker
