Assist the Finance Manager in the daily finance operations of the company.
KEY DUTIES
- Execution and Improvement of Internal Control Procedures
- Organizing and Monitoring of the account department team
- Cash Flow Forecasting/ reporting of daily cash balances and availability to Finance Manager
- Follow up of Accounts Payables and Receivables
- Monthly submission of Management Accounts, KPI reports
- Budget Preparation and monitoring
- Preparation of monthly returns to send to relevant authorities within the set deadlines
REQUIREMENTS
- ACCA (Minimum Part 2 completed) or any similar qualifications
- Degree Holder in Finance or Accounting
- Minimum of 2 years experience in similar position, preferably in tourism industry
- Sound knowledge of accounting standards (IAS, IFRS) and local legislations (Income Tax Act, VAT Act, Companies Act)
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluent in English and French, written and spoken
- Excellent Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Accounting software
- Being in the tourism industry, candidates should have a flexible approach to their working hours
