ACCOUNTANT

Assist the Finance Manager in the daily finance operations of the company.

KEY DUTIES

• Execution and Improvement of Internal Control Procedures
• Organizing and Monitoring of the account department team
• Cash Flow Forecasting/ reporting of daily cash balances and availability to Finance Manager
• Follow up of Accounts Payables and Receivables
• Monthly submission of Management Accounts, KPI reports
• Budget Preparation and monitoring
• Preparation of monthly returns to send to relevant authorities within the set deadlines

REQUIREMENTS

• ACCA (Minimum Part 2 completed) or any similar qualifications
• Degree Holder in Finance or Accounting
• Minimum of 2 years experience in similar position, preferably in tourism industry 
• Sound knowledge of accounting standards (IAS, IFRS) and local legislations (Income Tax Act, VAT Act, Companies Act) 
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills 
• Good communication and interpersonal skills 
• Fluent in English and French, written and spoken
• Excellent Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Accounting software
• Being in the tourism industry, candidates should have a flexible approach to their working hours
